3 Colours were engaged by the strata committee in Brookvale, Northern Beaches, to give their building a refresh of paint and change the colour scheme to modernise the look. The building had efflorescence issues (mineral salts coming through the substrate due to water ingress). This looked particularly obvious on the dark blue of the building. The dark colour was also attracting too much heat which was causing the building to crack in places. There was also a build-up of dirt, mould and grime.
The strata committee decided on a Dulux mid-tone, Flooded Gum to replace the Deep Ocean Blue, and Dulux Snowy Mountains to replace the cream colour, and Monument for the retaining walls, facia, and new walls that will take the place of the dated Brushwood fencing. The result was outstanding and the building looked new.
