3 Colours was engaged by the strata committee of this Brookvale residential complex to give the building a complete refresh and modernise its appearance through a new colour scheme. Over time, the façade had developed issues with efflorescence, cracking, and visible grime — particularly due to the dark blue paint previously applied.
The existing dark colour not only amplified the appearance of mineral salts leaching through the substrate but also absorbed excess heat, contributing to surface damage and cracking.
The transformation was outstanding. The new mid-tone palette created a fresher, contemporary look while reducing heat absorption and highlighting the building’s architectural features. The completed project not only enhanced street appeal but also provided improved surface protection and long-term performance.
