This strata project took 12 weeks to complete and entailed remedial work as well as painting the common areas and facade of the building. Due to the location based on the harbour, the building had a fair amount of rust and salt water damage which needed to be rectified before repainting.
We provided the strata committee with a detailed quotation, as well as colour consultancy services.
Our scope of works included the main building walls, timber pergolas, columns, soffits, balcony soffits, retaining walls, timber lattice and gates. Other common property areas in our scope were the external boundary walls and gates, staircase, doors, frames, interior walls, metal handrails, service doors, car park entrance, walls, doors and the rubbish bay.
We washed all exteriors and pergolas, removed all flaking paint, and sealed bare surfaces. We then applied a hydro epoxy waterproof membrane to the water damaged retaining walls and the inside wall by the entrance and water fountain. For the windows, we applied a sealant at the entrance on the inside and outside to prevent moisture getting through. We replaced all rotting pergolas, and removed efflorescence before painting.
