Longueville Exterior Paint

3 Colours was engaged by the builder to complete the painting component of a major extension and renovation of this stately Federation home in Longueville. The project demanded meticulous attention to detail, with extensive surface preparation and restoration required before painting could commence.

Given the home’s architectural character and age, the brief called for a finish that would honour the original craftsmanship while elevating the residence with a refined, timeless look.

Scope of Works

• Complete interior and exterior repaint using premium Dulux coatings
• Restoration and repainting of detailed Federation trim, decorative cornices, and timber joinery
• Application of three to five coats in critical areas to achieve full coverage and a smooth, durable finish
• Close coordination with the builder to align with renovation timelines and preserve heritage detailing

Outcome

The result is a beautifully rejuvenated home that showcases its original period character with a contemporary level of finish and durability. The attention to preparation and layering created depth, warmth, and texture, breathing new life into one of Longueville’s most distinguished Federation residences.
