3 Colours was appointed by the Owners Corporation of 2 Clifford Street, Mosman to undertake the fifth comprehensive remedial project at the property since 2012. This latest phase focused on restoring the Southern and Eastern elevations, completing the full exterior renovation that began with the Northern and Western facades in previous years.
The scope of works encompassed specialist restoration of Timber Windows, Balcony slabs, Balcony soffits, Balcony sheets, Balcony doors, and Downpipes. The project required remediation work including the repair of deteriorated concrete ledges using the Westox waterproofing system, comprehensive surface preparation, and the application of premium Dulux coating systems.
To ensure superior protection and aesthetic consistency, the team applied a professional coating system featuring Weathershield for balcony elements and PRECISION Maximum Strength Adhesion Primer followed by Aqua enamel gloss for timber windows and balcony doors. Colours were carefully matched with the previously completed elevations to maintain architectural integrity throughout the building.
Our experienced team employed both cherry picker and scaffolding access methods to safely and efficiently work at height, complemented by aluminium drop lines for comprehensive access to all areas. The project also included addressing moisture ingress issues, with additional carpentry work performed where required to ensure a sound substrate for the new coatings.
