This project required rope access painters to repaint the exterior facade. A large amount of surface preparation was required, including using an encapsulation method, to contain all metal filings from the steel preparation, to meet the requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency, The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and The City of Sydney Council. The scope of works included the steel fascia, eaves, roof purlins, walls, balcony slabs, balcony ceilings, soffits, downpipes, PVC existing pipes, rendered walls, and all brickwork.
