This strata complex in Annandale comprises five buildings of cavity masonry construction, built around 2003 and surrounded by neighbouring residential properties. Over time, exposure to the elements had caused deterioration across the façades, including cracking, corroded fixings, and failing sealant joints.
3 Colours was engaged to carry out remedial works and repaint all external surfaces to restore the property’s condition, improve durability, and enhance overall presentation.
The project required careful sequencing and coordination to minimise disruption across the multiple dwellings. Limited access between buildings and the need for consistent colour matching across façades required precise workmanship and planning.
The works successfully restored the structural and visual integrity of the complex. The Dulux coating system and thorough remedial preparation have significantly improved the building’s weather resistance and delivered a clean, cohesive finish that complements the surrounding Annandale streetscape.
