Narrabeen Strata Repaint

3 Colours was engaged to complete a full repaint of the Ocean Club Apartments as part of a complete refurbishment by a property developer who had acquired the entire block. The project involved both interior and exterior works while the apartments remained occupied, requiring careful coordination and minimal disruption.

Scope of Works

• Interior repainting: ceilings, walls, trims, and woodwork across all apartment units
• Exterior painting: rendering, façade, window frames, eaves, fascia boards, doors, and carports
• Specialist finishes: electrostatic spraying of metal balustrades and epoxy floor coating to stairs and walkways
• Paint system: Dulux Premium finishes applied for superior durability and aesthetic appeal

Challenges

Working within an occupied multi-unit complex required a staged approach and close communication with residents. Coordination with the builder’s refurbishment works—including rendering, bathroom, and kitchen renovations—was essential to maintain workflow efficiency and quality outcomes.

Outcome

The completed repaint transformed the Ocean Club Apartments into a modern, cohesive development that reflects the high standards of contemporary coastal living. The project’s excellence in workmanship, coordination, and finish quality earned 3 Colours the 2018 Master Painters of Australia Award for Multi-Unit Painting Over $100,000.
